I just couldn't get any lyrics out.  I decided I would just try to write about not being able to write.  It all changed when the word religion popped out of my mouth.  I had my topic, and a wave of frustration followed.  I consider Shame, Shame, Shame to be one of my best songs lyrically. During the time he was sick I would pray for him.  It's hard when we pray for things and they don't turn out the way we planned.  I wrote "Answers" around the idea that God does answer prayer.
